Aeropigs dotcom is a website created in 2004 by three UK flying enthusiasts, Andy, Bob and Jules whose interest was galvanized when they purchased a microlight and formally became known as the 'Pigs R Us Flying Group'. The name was chosen as we had access to basic farm strips in different midland counties and a farmyard theme was adopted which has now stuck.

The website is generally made up from aerial photos taken by Andy on flying trips in a HR 200.  All are in the name of researching the quality of the mugs of tea and the occasional bacon butty at as many UK airfields and airstrips as possible. 

If there was a recurring theme to these photos then it would probably be titled, 

' Spot the disused airfield ' 

 

with the exception of Bobs ballooning exploits.......
